Forty Days
Into the wilderness, led by the Breath,
Where silence stretched wide, and shadows met death.
The sun burned gold, the nights ran deep,
And Heaven held Him, though He lost sleep.
No bread to break, no wine to pour,
Just desert winds and a distant roar.
Peace, Be Still
Waves rose high, the night turned wild,
The boat was tossed, no hope, no guide.
Disciples cried in fear’s tight grip—
While Jesus slept within the ship.
Crimson waters
With lifted staff and Heaven’s breath,
The waters split, defying death.
Red walls rose on either side
And through the fire, we walked with pride.
Not blood, but freedom stained the sea
God carved a path to set us free.
Fields
In grassy fields beneath the skies,
The Shepherd calls with watchful eyes.
His flock, they graze in pastures deep,
Where streams run soft and angels sleep I pray the lord my soul to keep.
